    Technical Service Manager – Las Vegas, NV


    As a Technical Service Manager with SmartSource your primary responsibility will be the preparation, imaging, validation, testing and quality assurance of equipment on client orders. You will also provide field service and support as needed.


    • Planning and organizing production schedules.
    • Assessing project and resources requirements.
    • Supervising techs working in production area.
    • Enforce production procedures and quality control standards.
    • Act as the technical lead for the branch.
    • Review and verify technical requirements for client orders; pull equipment from stock; prep, test and stage for fulfillment.
    • Prepare and image computers using Ghost imaging software for client orders.Manage and keep the servers in working order and up to date.
    • Create / store client images in a systematic manner.
    • Keep lab cleaned and organized daily
    • Fielding technical service calls from peers and clients.


    • A strong IT background including computers, printers, copiers, networking and imaging (Ghost) of such equipment.
    • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting hardware. Networking experience is a must.
    • Must have a “can-do" attitude, strong customer service focus, and effective communication and people interaction skills as this position interacts directly with our customers.  
    • Familiar with Mac products and Deploy Studio for imaging Mac products including iPads, iMac’s, MacPro Towers, Macbooks, and MacMinis.
    • Familiarity with Linux is preferred, but not required.
    • Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, meticulous and accurate; ability to think and work independently, and meet deadlines.
    • Experience managing day-to-day activities for a small team of technicians preferred.
    • Effective communication and people interaction skills. This position interacts directly with our customers.
    • A desire to continually improve personal and branch operational performance.
    • Live event experience and familiarity with basic AV gear is a plus.
    • As our clients’ events are held seven days a week, candidates should expect to work some nights and weekends.
