    Solution Sales Executive

    We are looking for a Solution Sales Executive  for either our NYC or Atlanta office with Solution selling experience within the Entertainment market. You will be responsible for continuously prospecting and closing new business while ensuring client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with prospecting and selling in a competitive market. Experience selling to entertainment production is highly desirable. (e.g. production accounting offices, Writers rooms, etc).





    • Acquire new business with accounts that are not currently doing business with SmartSource
    • Develop a network of production company clients (both episodic and feature productions)
    • Develop sales in the entertainment market by identifying new sales opportunities and contacting prospective customers by: face to face selling, cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments
    • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities and forecast sales
    • Create and execute strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers
    • Demonstrated ability to grow both breadth and depth within existing accounts in order to secure larger share of wallet
    • Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned accounts in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and attain additional business
    • Cultivate and convey persuasive sales messages, proposals

    • Stellar prospecting and sales skills; highly confident and polished
    • Must be a strategic thinker and account seller
    • Outstanding written and oral communications skills
    • Effective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is also required
    • A positive, can-do A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated professional sales experience, preferably with experience in the attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Ideal candidate should reside within reasonable commuting distance of New York City (Preferred) or Atlanta.
